Precision CNC Machining for Türkiye: overview

Precision turned parts from bar stock on multi-axis CNC lathes. Bar or billet stock is held in a chuck or collet and rotated while carbide tools cut diameters, faces, grooves, tapers and threads under CNC control.

Every order is programmed in VISI or Delcam CAM, machined on LMW, Jyoti and Ace Micromatics CNC turning centres, and inspected in our Mitutoyo quality lab before it is packed and shipped.

Our cnc turning cell handles single prototypes through repeat batches of tens of thousands. Typical work includes shafts, bushings, flanges and fittings.

Programming, material and machining
Bar stock or forgings are drawn against their mill certificate, the job is programmed, and the first article is inspected against the drawing before the batch runs. This production time is the part that no transit figure includes.

Final inspection and export packing
Dimensions are checked with Mitutoyo hand instruments on a granite surface plate and recorded on the inspection report. Parts are cleaned, wrapped in VCI film and packed in ISPM-15 heat-treated crates marked with part numbers, quantities and weights.

Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and inspection report go out as soon as they are issued, with material certificates if you ordered them, so your broker can prepare the entry before the goods arrive.

The carrier leg
This is the published transit for Türkiye, measured port to port or airport to airport. It starts when the vessel or aircraft departs, not when you place the order, and schedules and transhipment can move it.

Clearance and inland delivery
Your broker files the import entry and pays any duty and taxes assessed, then the inland leg runs to your plant. Both steps are additional to the carrier transit, and both sit with the importer rather than with us.

Tolerances & surface finish

Standard capability for this work is ±0.01 mm on diameters as standard; ±0.005 mm on selected features by agreement. Bores can be held to H7 and bearing seats to h6/g6 fits. Where your drawing calls for tighter limits, we agree the critical characteristics up front and record them on the inspection report.

As-machined finishes of Ra 1.6–3.2 µm suit most functional surfaces. For seals, bearing journals and sliding fits we run a fine finishing pass to reach Ra 0.8 µm.

Plating, anodising, passivation and heat treatment are arranged through qualified partners and re-inspected in-house before packing.

Quality inspection process

Our ISO 9001:2015 system covers incoming material, first-article inspection, in-process checks and final inspection. Records are kept for every batch so any part can be traced back to its material heat.

Every shipment includes a dimensional inspection report, with material test certificates (EN 10204 3.1) on request.

Clearing a shipment into Türkiye without a hold

Import clearance is handled by your own broker, so the documents have to match what your side expects before the crates leave Pune. No India free-trade agreement currently applies, so standard import duties apply. Your customs broker can confirm the HS-code rate for your part.

Confirm or send before dispatch

Give us the exact legal name, address and tax registration of the importer of record, as they must appear on the commercial invoice.
State the discharge point you want to use. We ship most often to Mersin, Istanbul (Ambarlı), Izmir.
Tell us which Incoterm to quote, and nominate your forwarder if you are buying FOB Nhava Sheva or Mumbai.
Ask your customs broker how your part is classified, and what duty and taxes that classification attracts, before you place the order.
Request the certificate of origin at order stage if your broker needs it to claim preferential duty treatment, so it travels with the other documents.
List every certificate you need in the purchase order. The inspection report is standard; EN 10204 3.1 material certificates are supplied on request.
Confirm the delivery address and who arranges the inland leg from the port or airport.

What usually holds a shipment up

Invoice values, part numbers or quantities that do not match the purchase order and the packing list.
Asking for the certificate of origin after the goods have shipped, when it is far simpler to issue it with the rest of the set.
Changing the importer of record, the destination or the Incoterm once the documents have been issued.
Treating the transit figure as a doorstep date: production, clearance and inland delivery all sit outside it, and we confirm dates per order.
Leaving classification and any local product registration until the goods land, so the crates wait while your broker chases a ruling.

What is included on an export order to Türkiye

The same set travels with every crate, whether it is one prototype shaft or a repeat production batch.

VCI film and ISPM-15 crates

Parts are cleaned and wrapped in VCI anti-rust film, shafts go in individual tubes or cradles so they cannot bend in transit, and all wooden packaging is ISPM-15 heat-treated and stamped. Crates are marked with part numbers, quantities and net and gross weights.

Four export documents

Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and inspection report with every shipment. EN 10204 3.1 material certificates are issued on request, so ask for them in the purchase order if traceability matters.

Inspection by hand instruments

Dimensions are verified with Mitutoyo calipers, micrometers, a height gauge and dial indicators on a granite surface plate. We have no CMM, so if your drawing calls for CMM or scan data, say so at RFQ stage and we will tell you what we can and cannot verify in house.

ISO 9001:2015 quality system

Incoming material is checked against its mill certificate, the first article is inspected in full, and records are kept per batch. We do not hold AS9100 or ISO 13485, and we will say so rather than work around it; we do work to customer quality plans.
