Scope of this page

Machined in Pune, supplied to Delhi

Precision Machining India is a CNC machining and shaft manufacturing job shop in Pune, Maharashtra. All turning, 3-axis milling, shaft work, tapping and engineering-plastic machining for Delhi orders is carried out at that plant, inspected there and dispatched from there. Manufactured at our Pune plant; no Delhi branch. That means no local machine shop, no local stock holding, no sales office and no collection counter, and nothing on this page should be read as one. This page is written so that a buyer in Delhi and the wider National Capital Region can judge a Pune supplier before sending a drawing. This page exists because measured search data records about 20 monthly Indian searches for "cnc job work in delhi" — demand for a supplier, not a local address.

  • Machining, inspection, packing and dispatch all happen at the Pune plant
  • No branch, machine shop, stock holding or walk-in service in Delhi
  • Drawing review, DFM feedback and commercial discussion are handled remotely by the Pune team
  • Any visit to or from Delhi is agreed separately and is not part of a standard order
  • Freight method and dispatch schedule are confirmed with the quotation, never promised in advance
  • ISO 9001:2015 certified; AS9100 and ISO 13485 are not held

Precision CNC Machining in Delhi: overview

Precision turned parts from bar stock on multi-axis CNC lathes. Bar or billet stock is held in a chuck or collet and rotated while carbide tools cut diameters, faces, grooves, tapers and threads under CNC control.

Every order is programmed in VISI or Delcam CAM, machined on LMW, Jyoti and Ace Micromatics CNC turning centres, and inspected in our Mitutoyo quality lab before it is packed and shipped.

Corporate machining partner for Delhi

Delhi procurement teams coordinating CNC job work across multiple receiving sites should define one controlled drawing revision and a clear delivery address for each release. Identify whether the requirement is for machined metal components, engineering-plastic insulators or an assembly of separately supplied parts. Keep material certificates, dimensional reports and packaging identification aligned with the purchase-order line items so incoming inspection can match each batch to its approved specification.

Start with a controlled drawing revision, material grade, sample quantity and expected repeat demand. Our Pune team can review turning, 3-axis milling, shaft, tapping and engineering-plastic requirements. Confirm the technical scope and receiving requirements before arranging transport.

CNC Turning capability

Our cnc turning cell handles single prototypes through repeat batches of tens of thousands. Typical work includes shafts, bushings, flanges and fittings.

Before quoting, our engineers review your STEP, IGES or PDF drawing for machinability and suggest changes that reduce cost without affecting function.

  • CNC turning centres (LMW, Jyoti, Ace Micromatics): Shafts, bushings, fittings, turned plastic parts
  • Vertical machining centre (VMC) (Ace Micromatics, FANUC control): 3-axis milling, bed 800 × 500 × 400 mm
  • Auto tapping machines (M3 to M32 capacity): High-volume internal threading
  • Conventional lathe (Uma Enterprises): Turning up to Ø400 × 1200 mm
  • Band saw (Rajlaxmi): Bar stock cutting and blank preparation

Tolerances & surface finish

Standard capability for this work is ±0.01 mm on diameters as standard; ±0.005 mm on selected features by agreement. Bores can be held to H7 and bearing seats to h6/g6 fits. Where your drawing calls for tighter limits, we agree the critical characteristics up front and record them on the inspection report.

As-machined finishes of Ra 1.6–3.2 µm suit most functional surfaces. For seals, bearing journals and sliding fits we run a fine finishing pass to reach Ra 0.8 µm.

Plating, anodising, passivation and heat treatment are arranged through qualified partners and re-inspected in-house before packing.

From Delhi enquiry to dispatch from Pune

Job work and made-to-drawing supply follow the same route for Delhi buyers. Nothing in it depends on a local presence, and the consignment leaves Pune at the end of it.

  1. 01

    Enquiry and drawing review

Send the PDF drawing with its revision number, a STEP or IGES model where you have one, the approved material grade, and the sample and repeat quantities as separate lines. An NDA is signed first on request. Our engineers reply within 24 hours.

  2. 02

    Scope agreed and quotation issued

We confirm whether the order is machining only against blanks you supply or full material-to-finished-part supply, then fix the operation sequence across turning, 3-axis milling, tapping and any partner finishing, along with the inspection scope. Freight method and dispatch schedule are confirmed with that quotation.

  3. 03

    Programming and first-off approval

Toolpaths are programmed in VISI or Delcam from your files. A first article is machined and measured against the drawing, and the dimensional report goes to you for sign-off before any batch quantity is released.

  4. 04

    Batch machining and in-process checks

Production runs on LMW, Jyoti and Ace Micromatics CNC turning centres, the 3-axis VMC and the auto tapping machines, with in-process checks against the critical features you marked. Plating, anodising, passivation and heat treatment go to qualified partners and are re-inspected here on return.

  5. 05

Final inspection, packing and dispatch from Pune

Parts are finally inspected, identified by batch and packed to suit the features that must not be marked. The inspection report travels with the consignment and EN 10204 3.1 material certificates are supplied on request. Dispatch is from the Pune plant to the Delhi address on your release.

Machining-only job work or full material-to-finished-part supply

This is the first thing to settle on a Delhi enquiry, because the two routes are priced, certified and risked differently. Quotations for one cannot fairly be compared against the other.

CriterionMachining-only job work

You supply the bar, forgings or blanks

Material-to-finished-part supply

We buy the material, machine, inspect and dispatch

Who buys the materialYou do. Blanks are bought on your account and must reach the Pune plant before machining can be scheduled. We do, against the grade and specification named on your drawing.
Traceability and certificatesTraceable only to the certificate you send with the stock. We record what we receive and cannot certify material we did not purchase. The mill certificate is held against the batch, with EN 10204 3.1 certificates supplied on request.
Responsibility for non-conforming stockYours. Short, undersized, warped or wrongly graded blanks are reported before machining, and replacement stock is sent by you.Ours. Material that fails the incoming check is replaced at our cost and never reaches your line.
Lead timeStarts when your blanks are received and checked in Pune, so inward transit sits outside our control.Covered from order release, with material procurement inside our scope.
What the quote coversOperations, inspection and packing: setup plus the machining rate per piece. Partner finishing is quoted as a separate line.Material, machining, agreed partner finishing, inspection, batch identification and packing under one purchase order.
Suits buyers whoAlready hold stock or have an approved mill, and want machining capacity rather than a supply chain.Want one responsible party, with certificates tied to the finished part.

Both routes are machined in Pune. Blanks you supply have to be delivered to the Pune plant at your cost; nothing is collected from Delhi, and local freight is not included in either route. Freight method and dispatch schedule are confirmed with the quotation.

Quality inspection process

Our ISO 9001:2015 system covers incoming material, first-article inspection, in-process checks and final inspection. Records are kept for every batch so any part can be traced back to its material heat.

Every shipment includes a dimensional inspection report, with material test certificates (EN 10204 3.1) on request.

Industries we serve

This work is used across hydraulics, pumps & valves, electronics & electrical and general engineering. Hydraulics customers, for example, need leak-free sealing surfaces, accurate threads and high-pressure-rated geometry.

Our core customers are corporate OEMs in automotive, hydraulics, pumps & valves and general engineering, plus multinational companies that need PTFE, Nylon, Delrin and PEEK parts machined to drawing.

Delivery & support in Delhi

We support corporate buyers in Delhi's industrial areas, including Delhi and the wider National Capital Region. Manufactured at our Pune plant; no Delhi branch. Freight method and dispatch schedule confirmed with your quotation.

Drawing review and purchasing discussions start remotely with our Pune team. Site visits, freight charges and delivery dates require separate agreement; this page does not represent a local branch or local machining facility.

Need parts for export from Delhi? We also pack to export standard and can ship directly to your overseas sites.

Preparing a Delhi enquiry

Most rework on job-work orders traces back to the enquiry rather than the machine. These are the items that settle a quotation on the first pass, and the assumptions that cost a batch.

Send this with the enquiry

  • The controlled drawing revision, so the quotation, the first-off report and every repeat batch reference the same issue.
  • The approved material grade and specification, not a family name. Grade decides machinability, cost and what can be certified.
  • Stock allowance and starting condition where you are supplying blanks: saw-cut length, forging envelope and any pre-machined features.
  • Critical fits and datums marked apart from general dimensions: bearing seats, H7 bores, sealing faces, runout limits and thread class.
  • Sample quantity and expected repeat quantity as separate lines, so setup and piece price are quoted honestly for each.
  • Who carries responsibility for customer-supplied blanks that arrive short, warped or out of grade, and how replacement is handled.
  • Any partner operation required — plating, anodising, passivation or heat treatment — and whether it sits in our scope or yours.
  • Your incoming inspection method and the receiving address for each release, since the consignment is dispatched from Pune.

What cannot be arranged from a distance

  • Reading this page as a Delhi facility. There is no local shop, no local stock and no counter to collect from.
  • Asking for same-day collection, walk-in service or an included local delivery; machining, inspection and dispatch are all in Pune.
  • Expecting an on-site visit, line audit or sample hand-over inside a standard order. Those need separate agreement.
  • Asking for a delivery date or a transport cost before drawing and material review. Both are confirmed with the quotation.
  • Sending a worn sample as the only specification. Wear is not a tolerance, and copying it reproduces the original failure.
  • Assuming a CMM report can be issued. Inspection here is by micrometers, bore gauges, height gauge, dial test indicators and surface plate; there is no CMM.
  • Changing dimensions by email after the quotation. Reissue the drawing revision instead, or the batch is made to the wrong issue.
  • Comparing a turning-only rate against a finished-component quotation with milling, tapping, finishing and inspection inside it.

Capability behind the quotation

Since you cannot walk the floor on the way to a Delhi enquiry, here is what the plant holds, stated plainly enough to check against your own requirement.

Turning and milling in one plant

LMW, Jyoti and Ace Micromatics CNC turning centres alongside a 3-axis VMC with an 800 × 500 × 400 mm bed, so turned and milled operations on the same part stay with one supplier.

Shafts, threads and larger diameters

Shaft manufacturing with keyways, flats and threaded ends, a conventional lathe taking work to Ø400 × 1200 mm, and auto tapping from M3 to M32 for threaded quantities.

Engineering plastics handled separately

PTFE, Nylon, Delrin and PEEK machined with their own tool geometry, cutting conditions and handling, kept away from metal swarf so insulators and seals stay uncontaminated.

Inspection instruments, named

Mitutoyo vernier calipers, outside micrometers and height gauge, inside calipers and bore gauges, dial test indicators and a granite surface plate. There is no CMM, so tell us at enquiry if a CMM report is mandatory for your part.

Partner finishing, re-inspected in Pune

Plating, anodising, passivation and heat treatment are carried out by qualified partners and re-inspected in-house before packing, so the features affected are checked after the process, not before it.

Prototype through repeat volume

No fixed minimum order quantity: single prototypes, pilot lots and repeat runs beyond 10,000 pieces run through the same documented process, with an RFQ response within 24 hours and an NDA on request.
